Cancellation and refund policy

Private Lessons

Private lessons must be canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

Private lessons that are canceled less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will be billed and are non-refundable.

If you have purchased and prepaid lessons as part of a package deal, you may request a refund on lessons not taken, as long as the lessons pre-purchased have not expired. If you have not taken any lessons on the package, you are eligible for a full refund. If you have already taken some of the lessons, you will be issued a refund based on the current a la carte, non-package lesson rate (Rates vary by instructor, standard a la carte private lesson rates are currently $40 for 30-minute private lessons and $80 for 1-hour private lessons). For example, if you purchase a package of 6 (30 minute lessons) for $200 and take 3 of the lessons, you may request a refund for the remaining 3. Your refund will be calculated as follows: $200 – $120 (3 x $40 a la carte 30-minute private lesson rate) = $80 refund.

Group Classes (Drop-In)

Once purchased, there are no refunds for drop-in group classes. If you have purchased a class card and are unhappy with the class you have chosen, you may exchange your remaining classes for a different group class of equal value or lesser value, or you may receive a credit for the cost of the classes you have not used before the class card expires. Credit for unused classes will be determined by the cost spent on the original class card package.

Group Classes (Sessions)

Tuition payment in advance guarantees your spot in a class. Each class in a session is allotted a certain number of students, by paying your tuition for a class session you are committing to attending that class for the entire length of the session. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for class sessions of any kind. If for some reason you are unable to complete your session, we ask that you call the studio as soon as possible and inform your instructor of the change. A studio credit may be extended to you for use in future workshops, classes, parties or merchandise. You may also gift your credit to someone else. Please note that once a class session has started there are no refunds or credits issued as we held your spot for you in that class. We thank you for your cooperation. 

Workshops/Master Classes/Bootcamps

Payment in advance guarantees your spot in a class. Many times a workshop may fill and other students are turned away for lack of space. Therefore, we do not offer refunds for workshops, master classes, or boot camps of any kind. If you are unable to attend your workshop, master class, or boot camp we ask that you call the studio at least 48 hours prior to the start date of the class. A studio credit may be extended to you for use in future workshops, classes, parties or merchandise. You may also gift your credit to someone else. Please note that once a class or workshop has started there are no refunds or credits issued as we held your spot for you in that class. We thank you for your cooperation.
